Just some advice, if you wanted a Blu-ray player before you found out it was in the PS3. And if you in general prefer the PS3 exclusive games than good for you. Buy the PS3 and enjoy.
Just please do not kid yourself about it being a quantum leap above the competition as far as graphics and online. Their the same.
it's a decent game at 89%, just not a system seller or a killer game in my opinion.

The reason both consoles are on different planes is because it's like comparing a Honda Civic to a Ferrari. In sales a Civic destroys the Ferrari, BUT THEIR both cars so why does comparing them seem ridiculous.

But to break it down for you, the more steady PS2 sales are the LESS people will jump to the PS3. So yah, that's a bad thing for Sony lovers. If PS3 fans wanted anything, it would be for the PS2 to "die". This would mean consumers are ready and willing to jump into the PS3 at 600 a pop.
